Product Owner and Business Analyst, Arnie

I’m Satheesh Nunna, Product Owner (PO) and Business Analyst (BA) for Arnie. My primary responsibilities include product and development liaison, as well as managing and prioritising the product backlog for Arnie.

I have been working with Yarris for more than 13 years now. 

After completing my Bachelor of Engineering in India, I started my career as an IBM AS/400 developer in Chicago, USA. I worked for two years and then moved to New Zealand to work as a System Analyst for nine years. During the 2008 recession, I was forced to look for a new job. I was fortunate to receive an offer from Yarris within a month. I moved to Australia and have been working for Yarris since then.

Having worked with Arnie for over 13 years and much of my time as Product Owner and BA, I always had the opportunity to engage with Arnie customers, understand their needs and turn them into impeccable features and functionality of the product.

Since I joined Yarris in 2009, Arnie has grown so much from simple functionalities with html pages to most advanced features using the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

The Arnie team strictly follows Agile methodology. As a Product Owner I take responsibility  to create product backlog, revise the tasks, answer questions to customer enquiries and make sure everyone has the right understanding of the requirements. I work closely with my team in Analysis, Planning, Development, Testing to ensure the deliverables are complete based on the defined requirements.

My career has a mix of experiences (developer, system analyst, BA) which aid me in successful analysis of the product features. I am the Arnie product expert and enjoy contributing to product growth. My team calls me Arnie ‘guru’ which is rewarding to be part of the team.   

My first preference is to enjoy spending time with my family. I love gardening. Badminton and Cricket are my favourite sports.
